The team at Twyford Playgroup are dedicated and highly skilled practitioners. Their warmth and expertise makes Playgroup a welcoming and enriching environment for pre-school children.
We are committed to professional development and take courses during the year to enhance our skills and the setting practice. All of our practitioners are constantly looking to widen their knowledge through training. Below you will find details of specific roles we hold within the setting as well as our qualifications. Pamela – Playgroup Manager
Pamela is Playgroup’s manager and leads the team, she has been a practitioner at Twyford Playgroup for 18 years.
Her qualifications include: NVQ Level 3, Forest School Level 1, Paediatric First Aid, Health and Safety, Food and Hygiene
Pamela is also Twyford Playgroup’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO).
Li – Playgroup Deputy
Li is Playgroup’s deputy manager.
Her qualifications include: CACHE Level 4, Forest School Level 1, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Level 4, Food & Hygiene.
Li is also Twyford Playgroup’s Health & Safety Officer and sends the weekly newsletter to parents.
Playgroup Practitioners:
Our team of practitioners work closely together to ensure Playgroup is run smoothly and to create an environment filled with discovery.
Rachel: Rachel has Level 4 Early Years Education, Paediatric First Aid and all relevant and necessary safeguarding training.
Bank Staff
Our bank staff all have a history of either working at, or having a child at Twyford Playgroup, as well as extensive early years experience. They are ready to stand in if any of our day to day staff are unable to work.
Ellie: Ellie loves being outdoors and has many years Forest School experience. Her qualifications include CACHE Level 3, Forest School Level 1 & 3, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Level 3, Food and Hygiene, Health & Safety.
Gemma: Gemma holds Level 6 Qualified Teacher status and has had two children attend Twyford Playgroup.
Nilum: Nilum has Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education. She has completed her Paediatric First Aid and necessary relevant safeguarding training.
